“Hey You” EP is Invent’s debut release as a solo producer. Renowned for his incredible turntablism and DJ skills, he effortlessly blends analogue synthesizers, drum machines and a touch of rare vinyl.
The U Know Me Records signee has bridged the gap between new school sound and old school flavour by putting hip hop alongside electronica and hip house.
That’s how he picked up legendary hip hop MC’s KRS-One and up and coming NYC rapper – The Kid Daytona. The remixes are made by club scene heroes Azari & III and half of the TNGHT duo – Lunice.
The unique artwork is created by Forin, an artist influenced by the graffiti scene and a cult designer of many covers (O.S.T.R., Pezet, W.E.N.A. etc.) and audio-visual projects.
